Tyler Hazelwood - Owner / Director :

As a former graduate of the Mix School of Bartending at age 19,
Tyler originaly became a Bartender as a means to support his love for
travelling. He has since travelled and worked as a Bartender in Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, London, Amsterdam, Turkey, and Greece.
Tyler along with a handful of other Mix gradualtes worked their
way across Canada on a five star hotel on wheels called the America
Orient Express. Now back in Canada pursuing a career in film, t.v.
and music, he has worked in numerous bars and clubs as a bartender and
promotions such as Section (3), Tokyo Lounge, and Voda.
At age 23 Tyler started a company called TNT Professional
Bartending Service, that provided graduates of the Mix School of
Bartending with employment. Now Call Mix Event Staffing.

Tyler says he now prefers the challenge of private event bartending. "You never now what to expect. One shift you are at a super posh house in the British Prop. , the next at a trendy east-side gallery open, and then maybe a East Indian wedding in surrey or a UBC Field Party! You really have to be good at problem solving and adapting, no two events are the same. I'll like to thing of myself as a chameleon. I can fit in with any crowd."

Event Planning and organizing was naturally the next step for tyler and he says it's what keeps him in the industry. I really enjoy working with a team and seeing a project come together. As a show case of how much you can do in one event. Tyler in support of the arts community and the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of Canada puts on Factory Nights.
