For some, music is merely aesthetic: it’s value is limited to how it might enhance or detract from any given experience. For others, however, music IS the experience. The fragments of life that map out one's personal history are threaded together by the perennial memory of rhythm, melody, and lyric. Such are those whose musical talents and passions are not learned or dutiful, but rather, they are undeniable and intrinsically linked to their way of experiencing the world.
RC Lair, DJ and dance music veteran is one such individual. His musical savvy has defined his journey from infancy until now. From Canada to the United States, and back again, RC has played alongside many of the globe's most revered musical artists.
R.C. has shared the stage with international talent and legendary musicians such as Paul Oakenfold, George Clinton, Jeno, Ritchie Hawtin, Doc Martin, GrandMaster Flash, Perry Farrell, Josh Wink, Dave Clarke, Barry Weaver, Green Velvet, Pete Tong, DB, Rabbit in the Moon, Frankie Bones, Ultraviolet Catastrophe, Lionrock aka Justin Robertson, Kimball Collins, Grooverider, Dubtribe, Dave Ralph, Mark E. Quark, Mark Lewis, Chris Flores, Garth, Moontribe DJ's, DJ Pierre, Bad Boy Bill, The Artful Dodger, John Aquaviva, Chris Fortier, Stacey Pullen, Richard "Humpty" Vision, Donald Glaude, Carlos, Eli Star, Derrick Carter, Aphrodite, Bassbin Twins, Monk, Neil Landstrumm, Jason Bentley, Terry Mullen, Christian Smith, John Kelley, Nigel Richards, Icey, DJ Who, Tim Taylor & Dan Zamani (aka Pump Panel), Sotero, Hyperactive, Aldo Bender, Robert Armani, Mike Dearborne, Cari Lekebusch, Adam Bayer, Andrea Parker, Bassment Jaxx, A Guy Called Gerald, Tall Paul, Brian Transeau (BT), and his most honored accomplishment when he was named the only local talent used on the 1998 Wicked Tour's stop in Phoenix.

Most recently, RC has been tearing up the floors of some of Vancouver 's top nightclubs and afterhours with his infectious blend of electro and house, old and new and everything in between.
